Love Lurgan has been initiated by Donagh McKeown in response to ongoing negativity regularly shared by various commentators, comedians and others. The idea is to promote the town and reflect the numerous activities and people from her that have a positive story to tell. It's not a new concept. New York, Paris, Sydney and many others successfully adopted the idea decades ago. It helped build esteem among the people in those cities , so why not in Lurgan also

Since mid 2021, Love Lurgan , through accredited Tour Guide NI, Donagh has been delivering regular walking tours across the area. Via our Facebook page he has recorded many community interviews, spreading the idea of the project, sharing community activity to a wide audience. He and others are in the process of forming a Love Lurgan  Community Interest Company. News on that to follow shortly
