Love Lurgan Walking Tours
Join us for a tour of the historic 400 year old town of Lurgan, born out of plantation and the growth of the highly successful linen industry, into the 21st Century
Since ancient times, the area has been home to pre Celtic tribes, who chose to live alongside the fertile southern shores of the UK's largest inland lake, Lough Neagh
This 90 minute tour tells you some of the stories that make this a very special place. It's been home to world renowned people, among them Irish writer, painter and highly influential
leader A.E.Russell, and astrophysicist Jocelyn Bell Burnell, who discovered radio pulsars
Two other "stars" include "Master McGrath" from the 19th Century and the less well know "Pudsey" who almost made it to Hollywood in the 20th century
Tours are approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes in duration over a generally flat terrain, with small hills/gentle gradients.
To book your place, you can use the Eventbrite link below or text via Wahtsapp or regular mobile phone to +44 74 1511 7633 and will receive "how to pay" details via Paypal.
